Faux Fur & Flowers {OOTD}

The weather in Durban has been absolutely insane and maybe this post is appropriate considering how ridiculous it’s been. We hardly have anything resembling winter here and so with the chill in the air , I took the opportunity to wear this really cool faux fur jacket that I picked up from Topshop. Because, let’s be honest here – this is probably going to sit in my wardrobe until next year when there we have one of those really cold days.

I know that I haven’t been that active on my blog recently and I am so sorry loves, but I am also trying to be present in every moment that I find myself in. It is so easy to let social media overtake our lives. Sometimes I also find myself checking my phone more than I should,  and taking pics instead of just taking it all in and experiencing it fully.

It is so important to spend time with our families and friends, and literally be happy to have the opportunity to actually be able to do that. I think that we take too many things for granted and forget that we have been blessed with so much that we should be thankful for. I know I am guilty of that.

For this OOTD – I liked wearing something a bit different and this look was that for me. It coaxed me out of my comfort zone and I have to admit that I actually did like it. 🙂

Well, here’s hoping that wherever you are – your day is warmer than mine!
