Checked {OOTD}

Fashion is always evolving, changing every single second and it is easy to get lost in a whirlwind of boho-chic, seventies-style, monochromatic, sports-luxe (and more) inspired looks out there on the internet. It is true that style is something that stays with you forever and while trends may arrive and be out as fast as they are ‘in’ – it is important that we stay true to our own personal preferences.

You might have gathered by now that more than anything , I love my sneakers and jeans and this look is a reflection of that.

I was lucky enough to pick this Hollister shirt up at like 75% off at Edgars and since I had been a fan of the Tartan look for some time , everything pointed to the fact that I should snap it up. I love that it feels so comfortable and has some colour in it.

These sneakers from Adidas are everything. Everything.

My jeans I picked up from JayJays , also on sale – dammit! Hahahaha, it is a size too big for me but I actually prefer them that way. I tried on my size and it was so tight – I just wasn’t comfortable! Remember when trying on jeans, always test ’em out in the change room by bending over to ensure you are fully covered and also check for muffin-tops … we don’t want that… I like this pair because they looked distressed but you actually cannot see any skin through those patches – I find with the ripped trend now, it is difficult to find denim that isn’t torn all over the place.

I hope you guys like this look and if you aint a fan of the jeans and sneakers, I have some other posts coming your way too… After all, a girl’s style is a myriad of different fashion looks and we are allowed to embrace them 🙂
