{OOTD} Memories

This look was one I wore to our famous Moses Mabhida stadium over Mother’s Day and despite the chilly weather, People’s Park was full! Everybody didn’t seem to mind the wind, especially the kids who were more than content riding around on their bicycles, having fun on the playground or just having an ice cream with their parents.

Whenever I visit the stadium , I always travel back to 2010 when the world was literally on our doorstep and we were in this huge bubble of excitement. We stood united and delivered a first-class stage for the amazing World Cup and I will always be happy we got to experience that once in a lifetime opportunity.

I chose to wear this basic outfit for the day out mixing up my neutrals with a bit of denim. This top was quite feminine in that it had both mesh and lace detailing on the collar. My shoes are a nude pump with cut out detailing on the front which kinda makes it look like someone took a scissor to it. It does make it quite unique and since I am trying to reinvent my style this season, I chose to go with something different.

This Luella neutral and blush bag positively screamed my name all the way on the shelf when I saw it. I love that I can use it with a variety of outfits and the colours are great for Autumn. There is more than enough space for all my makeup, wallet, keys and anything else I decide I have to have before I walk out there. I think a change of clothes could even fit!

I love spending time with my family, every moment is special and very dear to my heart so this day was very important to me.

So, what did you do on mother’s day?
