{OOTD} Cream Gold

Hello Everybody and Welcome back from the long weekend! Another one is just around the corner if you feel like you’re in desperate need of it. I hope yours was fabulous 🙂 Mine was busy with a wedding to attend on Saturday and then my cousin’s 1920’s themed 21st birthday party on Sunday. Boy, am I exhausted… late nights and early mornings have left me wanting some much needed rest although this weekend sees me attending yet ANOTHER party…

Good news though, that means a lookpost , whoopee!

I wore this chiffon pleated knee-length dress for the party to tie in with the theme and accessorised it with bits of gold and some pearls. I have had this dress for a VERY long time but hardly wear it so I thought this was the perfect occasion. It is very light and feminine and was easy to accessorise with one my faves in my closet – the gold clutch.

I chose to wear this pearl chain which has this girly flower attached to it. I must admit , this isn’t the easiest necklace to wear because it is quite heavy which is why I almost gave it away. I am so glad I didn’t because now I remember why I bought it in the first place.

I had a ‘shoe-change’ that night, I wore my high – heeled black ‘glitterati‘ Guess shoes earlier that night but swopped them out for a more practical choice with this pair of luxe-look gold Zoom pumps. I promise, you will see the Guess ones in another post (I absolutely love them) ❤

I took a lot of these pics myself so apologies if they are not awesome 😛 but I just thought it would be nice for you guys to see what I wore. What did you get up to this weekend?

p.s. below is one of the groupies my cousins took – ok , so it’s just one of the many we took that night!
