{Beauty} Honeymania Body Butter

To know me is to know I am obsessed with The Body Shop and all its sweet smelling products. I do have my favourites I will admit but on occasion I am known to shake things up by trying something new.

This time the bright yellow Honeymania Body Butter caught my eye so I thought I would give it a whirl. I opted for the little tub instead of the full size just to see how it would fare.

As is common knowledge, honey has been known to have many medical benefits , some of which include healing wounds and burns, blood sugar regulation and it even contributes to beautiful skin – amongst other things. Each pot of this luxurious body butter contains Community Fair Trade honey made from the nectar of thousands of wildflowers.

Ooh, doesn’t that just give you goosebumps?

I love the packaging on TBS products, they are very sturdy which means they are perfect for travelling and with the screw-on cap you don’t have to worry about it spilling in your bag. Whenever I am on the go, I am sure to take this beauty with me.

I love this sweet , floral scent and don’t find it overpowering at all, in fact, it has the right balance between fragrance and moisturising qualities. To be honest, when I have run out of moisturiser I have actually used this on my face and I LOVED it ❤

It envelopes your body in this rich, velvety, oh-so-buttery cocoon of honeymania (if I can call it that) and keeps your skin feeling hydrated. If you are new to body butters, you might find the consistency quite thick but don’t be alarmed, once you put it on your skin it is easily absorbed.

If there was anything I would change is that the smell would last longer. The fragrance does tend to fade after a few hours and it is such a pity ’cause it really is a gem.

With the cold weather upon us and winter knocking on our doors, my suggestion would be to invest in a great body butter like this one. Your skin will thank you for it.
