Suigo – Haircare

I try to go the salon regularly and while I must admit as much as I try, something always comes up and my appointment always gets postponed. I love the feeling that I get when someone else is washing my hair with really good quality shampoo. Of course I wanted to recreate this feeling at home and my search ended when I happily discovered the Suigo Derma Range.

My hair is a confusing entity. My roots and scalp get really dry but my ends look like I have doused them in cooking oil, so when it comes to choosing a shampoo it can get quite nerve-wracking. Like many people have combination skin, I think I may have combination hair (yes, that IS a thing – Google it lol). haha. I saw many others trying the Suigo range and since I had nothing to lose, I tried it out myself.

What can I say? I was very impressed.

Suigo is a Japanese brand that has made its way to South Africa almost exclusively available online (I haven’t seen it in any retail store to date) and has proven it can hold its own against other international haircare brands.

There are both shampoos and conditioners to suit every hair type from the Suigo Brand. The ranges include the Ultimate Range, the Nutritive Range, the Arts Range and the Derma Range.

I used the Derma Range simply because I suffered immensely with my dry scalp, and while it wasn’t dandruff -I was very conscious because if I ran my fingers through my hair or wore black clothing, I would soon find white flakes on me (*cringe*). The first time I used the shampoo I must admit I was blown away. It was thick and creamy and I only needed a small amount on my hair and it lathered up so nicely giving great coverage all the way to the tip. It was so difficult to wash it off, only because I loved how it felt and did not have the heart to do it 🙂

After shampooing, I used the Derma Exfoliating Treatment on my scalp. Yes, it is a little tube but you only need a small amount to feel a difference. It looks just like an exfoliating scrub for your face – you can see the microbeads that rid your scalp of all the dryness and keeps it feeling clean. All I did was towel-dry my hair after I rinsed off the shampoo and applied this to my scalp. I rubbed it in until I could feel the beads had completely dissolved and then left it for a few minutes to work its magic. Once I had washed it off, my hair felt silky and smooth like I had just applied conditioner but it didn’t look greasy at all.

Once my hair was dried, it was incredibly easy to style because it was smooth and silky and it even looked healthy too. Since I don’t use a conditioner, I used to find that my hair would become dry and frizzy after a wash and to style it was almost impossible. This meant more damage to my already sad hair but Suigo has changed all this. Whoop!

I have been using this range for 7 months now and have found no fault with it. It is an excellent product that meets all my expectations and I would definitely recommend it.

If you have been searching for a shampoo that really proves it worth, buy your Suigo products online from Beautyfacets , Kalahari or Rubybox. You can even purchase sample sizes on Rubybox so you can test it out before committing to it – how cool! If you have tried it, be sure to let me know how it fared in your books.

P.s. I now have purchased the 680ml size because it works out sooooo much cheaper 🙂

Till Next Time

xoxo
